Mobs And Mollusks - Print
11” x 14” Digital Print
High quality digital reproduction of an original painting by Julie Armbruster.
Mobs and Mollusks was inspired by a collaborative art show about symbiosis. At the time, there was a Wikipedia example for symbiosis linking wombats and snails. There was no more information on the exact relationship, so Julie decided to make up a mutually beneficial relationship and exchange the snails for slug, a much more interesting creature:
The slugs tent to stay home too much and the wombat is exceptional at motivating them to go out. In return the wombat has his toenails polished by the gooey slime trails left by the slugs.
